About the Role
Miss Nigeria UK is seeking a part-time Fundraising Manager to develop and implement fundraising strategies that will help support our mission of empowering and celebrating Nigerian women in the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and cultivating new funding opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing donors and sponsors, and managing fundraising campaigns and events.
Develop and implement fundraising strategies that align with Miss Nigeria UK's mission and goals
Identify and cultivate new funding opportunities, including individual donors, corporate sponsors, and grant-making organizations
Maintain positive relationships with existing donors and sponsors through regular communication and stewardship activities
Manage fundraising campaigns and events, including planning, promotion, and logistics
Collaborate with other team members and volunteers to support fundraising efforts
Maintain accurate records of donor information and fundraising activities
Prepare regular reports on fundraising performance and progress towards goals
Stay up-to-date on trends and best practices in fundraising and apply them to Miss Nigeria UK's activities
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as nonprofit management, marketing, or communications
Proven experience in fundraising or sales, preferably in the nonprofit sector
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with donors, sponsors, and team members
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and the ability to identify new opportunities and solutions
Proficient in Microsoft Office and donor management software
Passion for Miss Nigeria UK's mission and a commitment to supporting Nigerian women in the UK
